July 2025
We had an amazing summer where I raced at the 4th round in the PFI championship, competed at the Kartmasters British GP and had an amazing Italian holiday in Sicily.
We also moved house too so its been incredibly busy. It meant we missed a round at Shenington whilst in Italy. Luckily it turned out to be the worst weather for the event with constant rain, meaning our competitors have a bit of a gap on us but with a further 2 rounds now left at Shenington it’s still possible to take a podium in the championship.
New Sponsor Announcement
We were so pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement for the remainder of 2025.
Adams Morey part of the Greenhous Group have agreed to support us for the remaining championship rounds. The team at Greenhous already have a strong motorsport background, sponsoring John Powell in the British Truck Racing Championship.
I was lucky enough to meet up with John to watch him race at Donington Park and get to meet the team and try the truck for size.
I had a great day watching the racing. Unfortunatel,y some teething issues with the new truck engine meant the team were side-lined for most of the weekend. Thanks to everyone who made it an enjoyable da,y and to Greenhous for coming on board with me.

Saturday Qualifying Day
We tested Friday as usual to try and get a good setup. The weather was very likely to change, but the Saturday tests went well.
Using the practice engine meant I was a little off the front running pace and being the only entrant from Jade didn’t give me much data to use. We pushed on but it didn’t feel quite right and in the last practice I was the slowest which was quite disappointing.
Qualifying went just as badly, and I found myself only one place off the bottom in 29th place and 1.8 seconds off the leaders. That left me with a lot to do in the heats.
Race Day
Warm up was very wet and with only 5 minutes it was difficult to get up to speed. PFI can be extremely slippery when it gets wet and you need to use the kerbs to get the best from the kart.
Heat 1
It was still very wet, but I pushed on and made up 9 places to finish 20th, a really great start to the day beating some more experienced drivers.
Heat 2
With the track drying and times improving we switched back to a full dry setup, again we pushed on and I made up 7 places to get to 23rd. This meant for the final I would be starting 22nd which was a big improvement on the qualifying results.
Final
The final was a bit of a disaster I was pushed off at the very start going into the first corner and the damage meant I couldn’t restart. I watched the entire race from the sidelines, it was the end to a poor weekend. Not really what I wanted only a few weeks before the GP. The kart only had minor damage really so the team at Jade would have it perfect for the next event.
